scrappychic77 2008-07-04 ch 46,	abuseI've just spent the last two days reading the four stories in this series and I have to say I loved them. I've never read a HP/SG-1 cross-over before, most likely because most people would have a really hard time mixing these two 'verses. I think you've done a great job with it. The only problem I had with any of the stories was that I thought Daniel and Sam are a bit out of character. I think Sam, being such a science minded person, would have a bit more trouble believing in magic. I know that she's being presented with a large amount of evidence in the first story when they're all kidnapped, but because she's who she is, I would think that she'd be more likely to believe that it was technology they hadn't come across before (at least until they meet up with Thor). As far as Daniel is concerned, I see him as someone who is insatiably curious and wants to have as much knowledge at his disposal as possible. Even though he may not have read the HP books before, I'm sure as soon as he found out that it was all real, he would have headed immediately to the nearest bookstore to pick up the set. By the time the second story rolled around I would have expected him to be as knowldgeable about the world of HP as Sam and Teal'c. I think you did an amazing job with the rest of the characters in the story especially Jack, and even though I wasn't crazy about your Sam and Daniel characterizations I think on the whole the stories are very well done. Great job!

I'm sorry I did not do more reviewing, I don't think I even reviewed the in between stories - I was too enthralled reading to remember to review. :-) There is an intelligence to your stories that is immensely refreshing. You attribute the characters and the audience the same amount of intelligence and information. That is so rare in fanfiction. In this beautifully long series, the banter between Jack and Voldie was engaging, and spot on for the relationship you created. Sam, Teal'c and Daniel were written well. In particular, Jack's personality and dialog was perfectly done. The deviations from the HP canon, were again, very well done. Petunia, Dudley, Bane, Fawkes, and Hagrid, were lifelike. Which is impressive as they aren't the focus of the story, yet when you brought them onto the stage they leaped to life in the few scenes you wrote. Harry seemed so real. I don't know how you did that. Again, I am impressed. Thank you so much for this series. Now that I know what a outstanding writer you are, I'm going to go read your Stargate stories. Thank you for posting. hugs

Baellista 2007-08-13 ch 46,	abuseOkay, I just read through your entire trilogy thing (in about.. 4 hours, mind you) and it was very very good. Initially, I thought - HP and SG1 crossover? This is going to be lame as all beat out. Initially, it was. But I was bored, so I kept reading. Your writing has definitely improved. By the 3rd story, I was engrossed. You made it work. I'm very, very surprised at that. I didn't think it could be made to work, but it did ^_^ I'm a huge sg1 fan and a big HP fan, so this story was a very nice combination and ... to be repetitive, you did an awesome job :)
