You mentioned, "...his sight gave out completely" only to later in the chapter say, "...he was not surprised to find his hand covered in slightly congealed blood."

So, how does he see what he apparently can't see?

well this is pretty good, you seem in danger of turning ranma into some sort of mary sue, though, might whant to watch out for that, apart from that this seems to be going pretty well

Yeah, I was wondering why Ranma didn't use them. The school name is Yamisenken and I think the name of the blade attack is something along the lines of Kin reshu dan. I always prefer Ranma stories that are post-Saffron as that way all of Ranma's moves and techniques are availible. Also, it's a better placement as to where his power is, as his power could be anything when the only limit is pre-Saffron. While there could be issues with him like or loving Akane, it's generally pretty easy to just pass it off as her being a friend and betrothed therefore duty to save her. Keep up the good work (although, the first chapter was rather lame. I was thinking about not reading this story about halfway through it, but it's been a while since I've read a Ranma story so I decided to stick it out. My main issue with it is how lame it was for Ranma to die of a illness. It wouldn't be so bad if it was some form of magical sickness or being enhanced by magic, but just plain ill is rather unbelievible as Ki enhances the body and would boost the immune system way past normal)!
