Great story. Really interesting and well-written, though, I honestly wish there was more. It seems like this story could've done with at least one more chapter, like an epilogue.

Just stumbled across this one. I never tire of Kolya fics... it's my favorite kind of Shep whump. Hope to see more from you. Great work.

Nice story, Lauriel, and breath-taking writing. I loved the bits about Shep’s nightmares and his realization about his friends being there for him.
Not your best but a truly enjoyable read nonethelss. The only little 'flaw' was IMHO Kolya's characterization but that is probably just me, don't worry.

Poor Shep...glad that he's not alone, though =) Lovely story, good whump *grins* and really wonderful language...Loved it!

Well, this was a nice whump story. I don't know why you have it listed under M -- you would probably get more readers and reviews if you listed it under T. There's nothing overly graphic or evil here to warrant such a high warning. I like the way you described John running for his life with his injuries. Bullet to the knee is just ridiculously painful. I like the part where he's delirious in the cave with Teyla. Very cool.

Great chapter...heartbreaking to get the feel of what he has gone through and how he feels...
Glad though that he has come to realize he is not alone anymore...he's got friends that would do anything for him just as he would for them...

Oh that was a lovely chapter! Lots of nice Sheppy whump and angst and I loved the flashback/nightmare - very vivid and real. Aw and the ending... he's not alone! *hugs Sheppy* You wrapped that up beautifully! :)

Wow, what a smoshingly good chapter! You have outdone yourself with this one. The part in Afghanistan seemed so real and the end was just heartbreaking!
