Osa 2009-03-30 . chapter 2I enjoy your writing and I feel yo have the characterizations of Holmes and Watson down pat.
However, as an historian by profession and inclination, I have a few problems. First, since this story is written before Watson's marriage, it was also written before the advent of motor cars, so the father could not have died in an automobile accident. Second, the possibility of a kidney tansplant in the 1891 is slim to none. The first successful animal transplant did not occur until 1902. The first humam to human kidney transplant did not happen until 1933.
Doctors in 1891 did not know about differences in blood groups, since the four major blood groups were not discovered until 1901.
Maybe I'm nitpicking, but I have problems fully enjoying a story, no matter how well written, if the facts given in it are impossible. |

I must say, dear author, that you did a fantastic job with this fic. Absolutely fantastic. The facts, the plot, the outline, the style. All written incredibly well with a lot of effort put into it. I give you my applause for such a wonderful tale with my thanks for sharing it with us all.
