Awesome story though, and I hope that you will be able to get back to writing it a some point or another.

I kinda have to agree with Naruto about the menial labor Genin seem to be...

I mean seriously, Instead of making fresh Genin so damn weak then have them doing tasks that rarely do little more than increase strength by minute and worthless amounts, just so they can improve their teamwork, the academy length should be extended a couple years...

Start at 7yr old and end at 12. First 2 years are spent evaluating skills and building teams, year 3 teams are made and they begin doing D ranks on a regular basis to promote teamwork. Years 3-5 should be something like... 40% academics, 40% practical skills, and 20% teamwork exercises (AKA D ranks).

If that happened, then they could skip teamwork building exercises AND D ranks, and just start training! If the practical skills portion of the time is spent doing things like chakra control and stamina/strength buildup, then their current Chuunin minimums could turn into Genin minimums, and then the standards of shinobi would improve by fricking LEAPS AND BOUNDS.

But sadly, the civilian council is filled with shit fer brain retards who decided to pray on an old man's time of weakness and usurp his power, and thereby weaken the village and cause countless people to die.

I mean seriously, what do you think would happen if civilians decided OUR military regiments? we would probably end up having armies that (compared to current standards) are no better than a fresh recruit still going through boot camp.

I wish I could say this would NEVER happen in the world, but constant observation and study of our own species has made me VERY doubtful. If we didn't have cold people mixed with kind hearted people making the decisions... we would be royally FUCKED

I'll be honest, I don't normally like god mode naruto, because most of the time you never actually see the full extent of that power, as well as the fact that most of the time, he ends up being pretty uninteresting personality-wise.

That said, you have done god mode naruto flawlessly. He's a likeable character, he's shown the full capability of his power, and he's interesting and multifaceted as well.

But...it's been three years.

If you aren't going to finish this, at least hand it off to a good author.

Great read. I didn't really care for the parallel dimension plane shifting in the beginning, but otherwise I felt that your story was well thought out and developed. Your Naruto does feel a little overpowered, but I can see how staining the Naruto-verse with some FFVII would do that.

Given it's been 3ish years since an update, I'm gonna guess that this story has been abandoned/discontinued. That's too bad. But it was still good enough to merit a review.
