Great story!

Aw, that was really sweet. :) Fluffy and light on the surface, but dealing with the ever present issues of life, death and love. Nice dialogue, mix of the present, mentions of the past (I loved Flash's line, and Bruce's complaining of telling Clark why he did what he did...side-scenes put to good, if subtle, use) and foreshadowing for the future which provided structure for the story.

You've also managed to capture some really strong emotions using three very reserved characters. "But it sure gave them a lot to think about." Wow, what a line to end with! Totally a lead into a sequel. ::nudge::

Damn you Alfred! I just rewatched a piece of Starcrossed myself, so of course, I love this scene. And I can definitely see the byplay occuring between the two, especially if Bruce is already more or less down for the count.

And PS - you should have made Diana snort. Something about an Amazon snorting...
