Am I the only one who simply cannot understand why Kavanagh was made into the whiny character he's become? I distinctly remember watching that first episode he appeared in (Thirty-Eight Minutes) and thinking that it was Weir who was in the wrong (I still don't like her character, partly because of that incident). Add to that the fact that it was Kavanagh's idea that saved the day in that episode! So why was he then made into this whining, fainting, universally detested by the other characters (and some of the fans, judging by the other reviews for this) toilet stain of a man?

Anyway, the story's decent enough (the MRI and the ball bearings was certainly creative). As far as nasty deaths go, I'm surprised Peter (that's his name, by the way) hasn't encountered a member of a certain human-consuming race whose name begins with a 'W'...

Hehe. Killing everbody's favourite annoying guy. I like your ideas, I'll send you another sugestion how to kill him in a PM :-)

- run over by a 'jumper
- tripping over something off-world (like a snake or something)
- falling down stairs
- hypothermia
- weird off-world ritual (get inspired by the Aztecs)
- Atlantis (get inspired by 'Mad House' by Richard Matheson)
- fear (think of weird phobias)

it's great! I love it, this is very reminiscent of this book I just read with nanite technology and they put the person in the MRI and all the little robots go zooming out of him.
