You know, reading this has become a sort of tradition for me. I read it every Christmas holiday. I start the night before Christmas eve and then finish it Christmas eve night. It is amazingly written and really gives you something to think about. Struggles and healing. Beautiful. Thank you for writing it and taking time to edit it to make it even better :)

Thank you for this one. Even if you haven't gone through these troubles yourself, you did capture the feelings quite well. I've had my troubles. I don't deny it. I've held a blade to myself more times than I care to remember. And, while I've mostly gotten things sorted out, its still helpful to have stories like this one, be they truth or fiction, to keep me hopeful of the future. Even now, I find myself occasional pulled back down into the hole I've worked so hard to climb out of. But, things like this make my climb just a little bit easier. So... again... thank you...

This was an excellent, beautiful, and inspiring story. I think it was a great choice to use Sora and Kairi in a situation like this, just because everyone who played Kingdom Hearts know how much they love each other.

I don't think there's a lot I can say to help improve the story/style of writing, but the one thing that comes to my mind now is the use of "however", especially at the beginning of a paragraph. I think, since this is Kairi's POV, that using "however" just makes it seem a little too technical. As much as I can't believe I'm saying this, a better word (in THIS case, at least) might just be the plain "but".

Like you said, the ending is always bittersweet, especially with really good stories such as this. So, of course I'm going to request a sequel/spin-off oneshot. Your idea of having a Riku-based oneshot was fine, but I for one want little with the villain and just see how Sora and Kairi are doing afterwards, or check back on Selphie, or even see how Roxas and Aerith is getting along (though I perfer Roxas with Naminé, just because I do).
