At first I was happy because I thought El Vaquero was Grissom, but in then you made it sound like they were different. But then in the second chapter when Sara passed out after seeing Grissom, I was "Yes! It is him!" I know, I'm a dork. But I thought it was really good. Very Zorro-ish. Just the thought of Grissom in a mask, rescuing Sara, pulling her into a kiss... Very hot!

He he, I like your goetzspa, mimicking that author's style (even if you think you failed, becuase with literature of this standard, i can't feel you did anything but blow her away!) Sigh, I wish fan fiction writers got less abuse and more praise, because this is a truly great work. (If my future publishing company were only in operation...:)) Great, great work! My parents told me I had to be in bed 20 minutes ago but I had to finish the chapter! so if I get killed it's your fault! and yeah I so totally figured out Grissom was Vaquero! and does Greg have something to do with Ecklie? because she was uneasy around him and Ecklie seems to get other people to do his dirty work. hm anyway as soon as humanly possible I will be finishing this fic! I'M HOOKED!

But I didn't expect the romance novel bit, I love it when Grissom cuts her off lol. And the ending, leaving you wondering if she was really dreaming or not...beautiful. I love an open ending like that which leaves room to the imagination. Overall, excellent story with some unexpected twists and turns. I love how unique it was and how all the characters from the show were included (evil Ecklie and all!).
