This story is very interesting. I have been reading through several stories based on The Village today and this was the first to immediately pull me in. The writing style is delightfully natural.

Hm, I like it. Intriguing having the creatures be real. I like the slow, building intensity. Very effective. It's a little hard to read with such long, thick paragraphs. Maybe if you could space them out a little? Like for dialogue? I will continue to read this, definetly. Just some constructive advice. Good job.
