Society consist of nothing but flawed individuals. If we could remove all the flaws from every individual, society would be much better. The problem with that, is to first define the flaws, which varies in degrees of difficulty. Then find the cures, which is much more difficult, and often impossible. Another way to handle things, is to just forget about saving the world and worrying about things that are beyond your control. Concentrate instead on improving things that you can control. Try treating the people who you actually know personally, as you would like them to treat you. It doesn't cost a cent to smile and say "Hi". While that may not save the world at large, it can make your part of the world a much better place for both yourself and others. If enough people did that, many of the wrongs of society, that you are complaining about, would be considerably diminished. |
| mikairis 2007-02-25 ch 1, | abuseagreed... unfortunately, unless the majority of the world, or at least the leading nations of the world decide as a whole to lead a revolution or a change, no good things will happen. it all boils down to the fact that people are self-fish and self serving. too individualistic, and constantly depersonalized others, making it easier to step on others to attain personal gains its a sad sad world |
