I'm sorry I didn't review earlier, but it is now 2:30 in the morning and I actually planned on getting some sleep tonight :-) This was a wonderful story and it might even totally avert the apocalypse. John didn't go to Hell, and if Sammy isn't hunting, he won't die tragically (we hope) and cause Dean to make a deal and go to Hell, so no apocalypse, everyone is fairly happy. Thanks for posting, I loved it.

I liked it. It could use a little polishing but all in all it was a good fic. Excatly what I'd been looking for for days actually. A well written Dean visits Sam at college fic.

I just finished this and it was fantastic. I loved Dean's unhappiness when he realized that marriage meant Sam *really* wasn't coming back. I love having Jessica alive and present and finding out what Sam and his family really do. I thought the CIA story was hilarious, and Sam and Dean both yelling at each other for the crock of bull they just fed Jess made it even funnier. I loved that it was Jess who shot John, she would be the one there with the least problem with it, she's never met him and he just shot his own son for being possessed. Also, we only get to see her as a victim in the series, so making her the one to defeat the demon is great, especially since the scene came out naturally and there was no forced badass!Jess. She was understandably freaked and overwhelmed and you did a great job showing it. I loved the part where she realizes Dean plans to drop her off at some stranger's house and try to find Sam by herself and how upset she gets. The ending, where Dean finds the credit cards for the father and son and finally breaks down over John's death, had me crying. I love that Sam and Jess were able to get married in the end, and that it was subdued but still happy. Thanks so much for posting!

Great work! Sad that John died though. Kind of thought Jess would be the one to do it when Dean couldn't find the colt. Glad they still got married even if it was while still being the walking wounded. So will Sam and Jess go back to school?

I read your note at the top and I don't know if it still applies, but I'll tell you what I think anyway. The only thing in the first chapter that turns me off is the idea of Sam getting married- it's just too un-Supernatural for me. I like things the way they are in the show, but maybe I'm assuming too much and things change throughout the rest of the story.

But that's the only thing that bugs me. I'll probably keep reading anyway, though, because you've done such a great job of keeping the Winchesters in character. That bit with John calling Dean after talking to Sam was spot-on, and the attitudes they've developed from the years apart are very well portrayed. Great dialogue!

Wow! What an amazing piece. I loved every minute of it. You had me on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen. I love how thorough your characterizations are, especially with Jessica. Since we know so little about her, it would have been easy to make her a boring fill-in, but she's just as complete as the boys are. I especially love your dialogue...even the narration reads like dialogue, with the characters' thoughts and side comments adding depth and humor. What a great ending! I totally didn't expect it, but it really worked. Just really well-done overall!

So I've just started reading this story and I really love it! I love that you use familiar key points in the timeline but realistically change it up so that it's not predictable. I've really enjoyed a lot of the more angsty chapters, but I gotta say, this one is my favorite so far. It made me laugh out loud, and it reduced some of the tension. You must have a lot of experience with car games. :) Thanks for reminding us that the boys are guys first and hunters second, and not all their conversations have to be about who's in mortal danger. Thanks for this!
