Fabulous, fabulous piece on Elizabeth's feelings about the city. I can really imagine that that's the way she is connected to it. I also loved the little insights into the other characters: how you think they feel about Atlantis is very realistic.

It is an interesting interpretation of Weir's feelings towards the city, that she doesn't love it per se, but for the meaning and importance it has to others and as a consequence to herself. Loved the way you wrote it, simple but captivating.
