Wow I really really loved this one, it was really well done and realistic. I really liked hearing Tsuzuki's thoughts, his past was so sad and how you mentioned the warm apple pie and related that to his current obsession with sweets well...just seemed really right. The self hatred, the violence really impacts the reader I think, as to experience such self hatred is something too horrible and it's really portrayed well in this piece. The fact you kept the characters in character and that you did not bash any character (XD like Hisoka for example) really shows what a great writer you are.

The thing that stood out, or most impacted me however would be the ending.

He's killed so many people...

He's a murderer.

A monster...

But then again...

So are you.

It really expresses how Tsuzuki feels about himself and the near desperation he has not to be alone, that he isn't the only one and is relating himself to someone so cruel in the anime/manga. I just can really imagine him thinking such a thing so seemed very realisitic to me. It is really well written, I very much hope you keep writing and put up more works as this was fantastic to read.

gotta love those mutsu fics that point out the similarities in attitude and destruction between the two. especially this one. hehe. second person is actually very hard to do and you pulled it off wonderfully.

oh that is nearly perfect... i still love it. i would like to see you try turning into some kind of story or something but if you leave it it's good to... just a little... an inch from perfection..

Fuck and damn! Greatwriting! Man I just had tears in my eyes at the end. You wrote it out all so beautifully and with Tsuzuki's emotions running through it that I just wanted to hug Tsuzuki and tell him everything would turn out okay.
Tsuzuki was also very in character to my opinion and very recognisable in how he acted around the other shinigami. Tsuzuki really is a master of masks although in all honesty I don't think he manages to fool everyone anymore yet they respect that he doesn't want to talk about it and let it be.
I loved especially the ending. "He's a murderer. A monster... But then again... So are you." thatwas avery strong and powerful ending and I just liked it! Can already imagine Tsuzuki thinking this while we all known that he isn't at all like Muraki.

You know, that's a perfect summary of their relationship. I always figured if Tsuzuki gave in it would be a mixture of lust and a belief that he was no better than Muraki and didn't deserve better. You wouldn't think I'd ship them with such a negative view of the pairing, but the angst is exactly the reason I enjoy them.
