waterhouse_mermaid 2009-11-22 . chapter 55 You started writing these two stories while I was in high school and now, just having graduated from college, I want to tell you how grateful I am that I had such an amazing story to keep me company through the past 6 years. Your writing style has drastically improved over the years and its amazing to be able to watch a writer grow.
What hooked me the most about your stories was that it wasn't a typical romance story and it was SO original. The world that you created outside of Hogwarts was completely realistic and compelling to read about. I feel that you could alter this story and come up with original characters and successfully publish it.
Keep writing as I look forward to all of your future work. |
omniscient01200 2009-11-21 . chapter 42You know I normally am a very nonviolent person and normally dont react to stories like I have with this one but I am feeling very homicidal towards your Sirius. I have been for the last several chapters imagining my self beating the shit out of him. I guess that means you have done your job. Congratulations! -stupid rotten bastard of a dog grind his bits up and make 'steak' Tatar out them then make him eat it... grr. |
jonayla 2009-11-17 . chapter 55aah how cute, the ending I mean. Liked the hole story!!

La Feu Eterne 2009-11-13 . chapter 55Sigh. Once more, I am absolutely blown away.
Brava!
And thank you for the happy ending. I don't think I could have borne it otherwise.
Dream ever on.

GirlWithTooMuchTimeOnHerHands 2009-10-21 . chapter 55 I realise the story was finished quite sometime ago but I just couldn't hold it in! I loved both your stories Faith, and To Walk A Narrow Path. They were both so indepth, and rich in characterization, plot, and such it was amazing.
I usually find it very easy to figure out what's going to happen in a story that it can be disheartening. However with your stories it was quite the opposite, and I loved it! I immensely enjoyed how the characters read, felt, and lived like real, alive humans. In some stories the characters are great but they don't act like people would to situations. In your two stories it was quite the opposite, and refreshing!
The actual spelling, grammer, format, and such of the stories was beautiful. Now, I know I am not a great speller or that good at grammer. However! To be able to read a story, without having to decipher words, sentences, and paragraphs because they were so poorly made, is so pleasently relieving, and awesome! There were a few typos, and other such things here, and there but they were wonderfully rare.
The combining of different religions, mythologies, and beliefs was very interesting! Through most of the stories you had me wishing I knew more about all of them. However, despite not knowing the original tales of them, I was able to understand, and follow the story with little problem. The only thing making it difficult was my own mind wondering off, and chiding me for not knowing them.
I enjoyed where the characters ended up, and how they got there. The epilogue was great in its simplicity, and everything. I loved it! It was nice to be able to get a glimpse of how everyones life, and what they were doing with it. The interaction at the end with Draco, and Harry was very nice!
I wish I could write more, and tell you how I felt about your stories Faith, and To Walk A Narrow Path. I also wish I was more eloquent with words at the moment. Sad to say but I am extreemly tired, and am falling asleep writing this review *laughs*. So although I have more to say I will leave it at this, and simply say.
I LOVED IT!! |
Belladonna Goddess Chloe 2009-09-27 . chapter 55Oh that was such a wonderful story. I had wondered for a while were you were going with it. The ending was just beautiful, and the whole of it was so well-written. You should turn it into a book. Seriously, just change the names around, alter some of the main characters' backgrounds a bit and you could have one hell of an epic book. |
Harriverse 2009-09-27 . chapter 55You must be a m aster of mythology. Your stories have more drama and action than I can believe. I was glad that it was a spell that was the cause of Sirius' behavior, but even so I can see Harry's behavior towards them as reasonable. You left him in the best position at the end of all his adventures. Thanks for sharing your marvelous work. |
chocolatekat 2009-09-26 . chapter 55 omg i love you! this was awesome! i read both storyes in like a week! i could not stop. it was just great. even though you had typo's here and there. never stop writing! this was amazing |
zafaran 2009-09-08 . chapter 44I made this into an ebook, and read on it up to chapter 45 last night curled up in bed. The overwhelming thought that came to mind after seeing the fanaticism of the Unspeakables (under the heading that politics makes really strange bedfellows) was to wonder if the original core of the Unspeakables was the Office of the Witchfinder General. Between them and Healer Fondorn and his minions with their Auschwitz-flavoured "research", it make you wonder if they took as their original guidelines the Malius Malificarum. If this hadn't been England, I'd have wondered if the core hadn't been the Spanish Inquisition. I hope your muse and schedule will allow you to write and post more chapters on more stories sometime soon. Keep up the good work. Zafaran {mailto:} zafaran {at} fastmail {dot} fm |
PanickedSerenity 2009-09-05 . chapter 55Wow... Just wow. I loved this story more than any other I have read in a long time. Thank you so much for putting all the effort and time into it! It was amazing! |
Fick Chick 2009-08-26 . chapter 55Well written, although Ch54 was rather odd since all the paragraphs were centered. I still think the rating of this and the preceding story need to be raised to MA. According to , M rated fics should only have a "suggestion of violence" and your stories have FAR more than that. |
asdf 2009-08-25 . chapter 55 This was just as brilliant as the first instalment. I was biting my nails with worry when Harry was sent back to Sirius and threatened with Healer Fondorn.
I totally loved all the gods you created and the final battle was phenomenal.
Thank you. X |
Samantha 2009-08-18 . chapter 55 Wow. Just, wow.
I have been engrossed in Faith and To Walk a narrow Path for the last week. Your stories are amazing. My hearstrings were very much tugged.
I have always enjoyed stories containing mythology or religion but few of them do the intricacies or the characters of the gods justice. Yours did. I truely loved these stories. You are an incredible author.
Thank you for the journey. |
 wiccademon 2009-08-11 . chapter 55Dear Dragongirl16,
This isn't a review but more of a letter to you. I'm a book lover, when I find a good story to read I eat it up till it's finished. Though I'm a picky eater.
Your stories Faith and To Walk a Narrow Path, had such life and imagination to them that they truely stand out from anything else that I have read in a long time. Tolken would even find your work to be brilliant.
Now I'm not a professional writter and I still need work on my own stories (and spelling), but when I read your work... I felt inspired.
You have such a talent for story telling, you grab your readers and demand their attention. I've missed that in my books. So thank you.
I enjoyed reading your work, truely and whole heartedly I did. I do have one question for you though, are you a published author?
If you're not, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
Fanfic is great for fooling around with stories, but your tales are ment for here but out there for EVERYONE to read and experience.
I hope you read this and understand that you are a rare person who has inspired a lover of books to fall in love with your stores.
Thank you,
Wiccademon. |
Badbonita 2009-08-09 . chapter 55Boy, when you go about destroying the world, you put your all into it, don't you? That was intense.
I will admit that there were times that I was getting lost on the paths as much as Harry and Draco was but just like them, I persevered. The mix and match of various pantheons got confusing but also kind of amusing as I would try to guess which one this god belongs to or which pantheon would be the next one I would read about. Starting enough, I have heard of all of them and I do not consider myself a student of ancient religions.
Anyway, very enjoyable read and an excellent sequel to your earlier fic, Faith.
Thank you very much for the view. |
