Beautiful! A truly original and well-written piece; I loved it!

This is an excellent story, and the background is very good, too. By the end, you truly feel you can understand the dwarves' heart.

But it is fairly talky at the beginning. I suppose not everybody has read the Silmarillion, but I'm afraid the talkiness will discourage readers.

I think I'd like to read more about your dwarven world. Dis seems an interesting person in herself, and I'm sure the other dwarven women are equally interesting.
