I appreciate harry's self control and love of the vates path when we see the extent of harry's darkness and will to dominate and how hard it is for him to keep it under control sometimes.

its been a recurring thought of mine for a pretty long time now. i'd just thought i'd voice it since we've seen such a formidable manifestation in this chapter.

I love that the last chappie was all Draco. Man, I love the guy. Such a simple, at-ease way to end this amazing series :) Draco using words that will never be seen to old ex-best friend. Sweet. I think all the sleep I've lost in reading all 7 stories over the past 2 weeks has been worth every moment! You, Lightning on the Wave, is a author who uses words to draw out emotions in the hardest of people. And I thank you for sharing your words with the whole of fanfiction. Truely, this defo contests Rowling books and I think she should be afraid lol that its only legal law preventing this from publishing (I think?) Loved every moment in reading this :D xx

The words alone are like poetry in that duel. You certainly know to make the reader feel like they are right beside the duel, getting a first hand experience! Loved it :)

I am a heartless bitch, that I've realized because I had just finished the 5th volume and couldn't wait to see which one out of the three (Connor,Harry,Draco) will die according to Pansy's necro-sight. So I randomly jumped to the last few chapters and found myself relieved that only Connor died. Now I can read the last two volumes at a leisurely pace without a sense of foreboding and sleep deprivation.

I also noticed that the number of reviews has gotten progressively smaller with the volumes; I could only imagine that either people were too awed/rushed to leave reviews as they go along or they gave up reading like the fools they are. Needless to say, the losses are theirs for this has been a truly incredible journey.

I just have an image of Harry being a Don with Argustus, Miranda & Draco all snuggled up with him in bed :) This made me chuckle while reading the rest of the chappie. Snape & Regulus as well, friendship is really worth everything when you're in a war.

Such an intense chappie. Like, woah. At some points I was actually cringing. Good writing techniques, onto the next.

So beautiful, the full Malfoy funeral rite you described. I cried beautiful tears and wondered at the delights of your imagination.

hello,im not sure if you even check this place i want to say that i followed this story through to the very end,and though i have to say i wish not so many people had died and that i dont love all the characterizations of the characters, i also want to say that i admire you for having followed through on your word and completed this whole has made a very interesting read,with many new characters(its amazing that you thought of so many names,really)and a captivating(though not altogether pleasant,with the torture and gore) work! :D

Wow. Simply AMAZING! I can't believe that I had the luxury to come across this work of art. Yes, that is what your story is a beautiful work of art. The character development rivals that of J.K. Rowling herself, and some of the characters I almost find it hard to believe weren't in Rowling's original story. I completely fell in love with this story after the first chapter of the first "book" when I started reading this years ago. Now I've finally managed to finish it and I am completely blown away.(I'd have finished it sooner but sadly I kept losing my place and needed to go back and reread from the beginning to remember all the details.) Your writing has been an inspiration to me since I began reading. Congratulations, in my eyes you have completely rewritten the Harry Potter series and rewritten it so well I think even J.K. Rowling would be amazed.
