Funny! The beginning was a bit strange- first they're watching LotR, then for no good reason they're in a forest, not watching LotR- but this is nonetheless entertaining. I like all the "something-something-something"s in the place of Elvish...(glad that you're being realistic and that they don't just magically understand Elvish). I'm just wondering about the romance angle- are they going to wind up with Elladan and Elrohir respectively? It kind of seems that way now...there's nothing horribly wrong with that, it's just that there's an age difference of about 20 years, which is quite a gap.
