That was really good. I'm not normally a fan of things written in present tense, but it worked for this. Good job :)

This is so terrifyingly sweet.

I love the emotion laced between each sentance and feeling of the characters. I love how they are perfectly themselves yet thrown into something different all at once. This oneshot is a powerful, obvious representation of a team and friendship's worth and is well-written, thought out and structured. I simply adore your writing style and urge you to write more like this.

Oh, what a wonderful story! And I love the vid that inspired you just as well.

You really caught the characterizations fantastically. My favourite part is: "The monitors beep the song that Carson won, again."

It's really a pity and a shame that there are no such stories in the show. This certainly showcases Carson's lovely character and how much he cares for his friends. Also it gives one a brilliant insight into Beckett's silent fears. What the threat of not being able to save one of them sometime in the future means to him, how much he suffers. And sure enough how much of himself he is willing to sacrifice for the benefit of all others. Beckett would definitely go far beyond his limits to save everybody! How much I love him for this!

The last line was incredibly powerful and expressive. Wonderful little fic - you've captured Carson so well!

Ooh, I really liked this. You're great at writing Carson, and it's also a question in the show that hasn't been addressed often, if ever. When will Carson finally fail? This was great. :D

Really well written

A wonderful look at what Carson has to be thinking and feeling, all of those times that his friends' lives are in his hands. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have the luxury of detachment.

Carson can NEVER lose this herculean struggle he took on when he crossed through the event horizon, especially when it comes to members of Shep's team - it simply is unacceptable to think otherwise. So I have faith in that gentle soul and his skilled team to keep pulling our heroes back from the jaws of death to fight on.

Very nice! My only complaint is that first Carson checks on Sheppard (in the gateroom), then Rodney, then Teyal. He doesn't check on Ronon at all! What is he? Chopped Satedan?
