This was AMAZING! I only reveiw when a story truly deserves it, and yours definantly does. I am sitting here typing this wiping my eyes from crying. I want to praise you more but I am at a loss for words... WOW

I'll admit it! I did cry! That was beautiful and sad and all that jazz. The whole 'Charlie never knowing what happened' plots always get to me

personally (though it makes little different i expect) I would have prefered to see "Why he had given her the book". I may be wrong, that's just my opinion I like the way that flows better. =)

Amazing story. Beautiful prose. That last gesture at the grave darned near did me in.

Best of all was the appeal to the senses in the first bit - the visual in the silent blur, the tactile in the feel of the sand, and the auditory in the sound of the gulls. Masterfully done.
