Wow. No way! This is almost too good to be true! I actually found a well written-well, characterized story in the wasteland that is the Dragonball GT fandom! It's a miracle! *faints*

I never seem to find anything even decent in this little fandom, so this is a treat. I hated GT too, so another added bonus. Keep it up, this is fantastic writing.

Glad to see another chapter . . . it's been awhile hasn't it? Still this chapter was well worth the wait since we now see the story move forward in a very significant way. While we all saw the use of the Black Star Dragonballs coming it does bring up a few questions that will surely be answered in the coming chapters.

I really like how everything is coming together so far and I am curious about how the Saiyan gang's plans will influence all of this. Great progress and good writing Sean, this chapter was definitely worth the wait.

HAHAHA This is hilarious! This is like what GT should've been had they not killed it. Maybe they should have had you write it..? xD

Well as usual this chapter has been written well and has kept my attention. Not only that but raises new questions, while being suspenseful despite long gaps of explanations. My only complaint is that while I enjoy exposition in my fiction if it's interesting, this origin story takes up a lot of your fan story. I hope your not like Indiana Jones and "making it up as you go" Sean ;).

Seriously though, as I said, I like this exposition. It's a novel look at what Namek was like and other stuff in the Pre-Goku era that Akira Toriyama would not have been able to cover. What's more, no Mary Sue's or Stu's to be seen so far. Despite the long intro saga, at least you make good sense plot wise and with satisfactory character development. I can only guess it will improve. Looking forward to reading more!

it's a good thing you fixed up some of the chapters before this, i was going to reread the entire story anyway and to see it even the slightest bit improved, regardless if i notice it or not, is always nice to have.

You're going really in-depth with slug and the saiyans, which makes me glad that you're doing a good amount of back-story. Though I do wonder how long until we return to the present time. i can expect around chapter 15, but i wouldn't be surprised if you added in some kind of a plot-twist.

That was by far the best chapter i have ever read on . I was laughing my head off at some of th answers to goku's questions, it was well worth having a filler chapter keep up the excellent work.

Read Ch.10 awhile ago and I like how the story is looking. Despite veering from the main storyline with this flashback exposition, you still keep me wanting to read more. I like the idea that Slug was obsessed with becoming more powerful via learning rare and powerful techniques. Kind of reminds me of another manga villian...

I also like how you are portraying the rest of the Namekians, their home world and their culture before the unexplained catastrophe that caused Kami/Piccolo to be sent to Earth. Can't wait to see where this is heading. Well I can but... you know what I mean.

The only reason I don't utterly flame this story and bash this fantardation about GT is because I know I would eventually try the same thing BUT with the concepts used in GT still in place and not trying to make things that didn't happen because I want them to, especially not in some "AU fic"...

So, Gohan's son's name is Gosan?? That's pretty harsh!!

I like the Dr Slump references though, very nice. I'm guessing "Norimaki" isn't Senbei (who would be in his 90s!) but his son Turbo? (I take my inside jokes too seriously...XD)
