I love how this story starts with a smooth transition and updates us on how the other three Immortals are faring. I really enjoyed seeing Methos so relaxed and happy with the friends he's made through his recent trials. Showing how the three Immortals are growing more secure and ready to let others know who they are also served to show how Methos is coming to accept being more open. Perfect set up! As always, my favorite are the Watchers. While Methos is busy checking for snipers, I'm seeing it from the mortals point of view too - how they would want plenty of space to flee for their lives if necessary! I am constantly amazed at how each of your stories - even the ones that are totally AU from each other - capture Methos' character so well, while also making similar events be completely different every time! I can never guess what will happen next. :) I hope desperately that you'll be able to post the next sequel soon! |
