What can I say? Even she can show nothing, tell less. I love the multitude of insights that come from this chapter. Remy has such a unique history, and he's making the same kind of one with her. You write so well between the lines. :sighs: Love it.

Whooh! I'm drowning in his emotions. I love how you feel it with him. You feel the moment but you never tell us exactly what he's feeling, just let us experience it with him. Sad. But beautiful nonetheless.

Wow. Deep. I love the emotion and the understatement and of course, being a writer, how well it is written. I had forgotten how much I loved this one.

I don't think I'll ever look at the King of Hearts the same again. It's true - I've never noticed the blade impaling himself in the head. I suppose the more optimistic observer would say that it's behind his head rather than through it, but the more tragic reasoning fits in very well with Remy's character, methinks.

I think you're the only writer that can make me sense the awkward, uncomfortable air between two characters so keenly. I almost feel like I should nudge them into doing something. :)
