I can't organize my thoughts properly as it's near midnight and I've just undergone a 3 hour cram session, so I apologize in advance for dumping this splatter of a review and making you find the meaning hidden somewhere within this jumble of words... Words that really just can't describe how happy and thrilled I am to discover the gem of a writer that I have found while whimsically browsing though

I absolutely loved this little vignette of yours to the point that if it was a human, I would ask for its hand in marriage. Unfortunately, it's not, so I have to satisfy myself with submitting a justly deserved praise-laden review. I adored the details, drooled over the imagery (I actually chuckled at the part about "the nightmare about the three-hundred pound mime, the clown-faced shark and the spike-lined pit"), and marveled at the professional way that you handled these characters. You have managed to make this piece come alive in my mind.

However, it's late at night and my body demands sleep before I use my keyboard as a pillow and wake up with a checkered-face. So I bid you adieu and look forward to reading (and reviewing!) your next piece of writing.

I feel like this fic kinda sums up RoyAi -- nothing *really* happens, but there's an undercurrent of something more. Your writing is brilliant =)

That was *stunning* imagery. The concept of a tiger as a metaphor for Riza is unique and creative.

I was reminded of the old story that has the beautiful woman behind one door and the tiger behind the other - the man has to choose one of the doors, either towards love (marriage) or imminent death - and having Roy see Riza as *both* woman and tiger is an interesting thought under that context. (...and this rambling is why I should not review at ungodly hours. ^^*)

Nice hand with details, too - the bit with the coat and the quip about "at least one of them will not be useless" were favorite moments. Though the bit about the three-hundred-pound mime nightmare comes darn close...
