I kinda' feel like Cale's bit of internal monologuing was out of place, but the content was definitely intriguing.

I also agree with the other reviewers that you should continue this - it's during the series, right? Well, that would be interesting to hear your perspectives from the Warlords as they attempt (and fail, I assume) in their plans.

Once again, a lovely story. I liked how you used all the warlord's backgrounds in this piece, too. It took me a while to get around to reading this piece because of work issues, but it was well worth my time.

If the Warlords think that using such a concotion will stop Anubis long enough for them to capture him, THINK AGAIN! His belief in himself, and the power of the Ancients, will give him the strength needed to stop this attack. You three would be better off working with him, then trying to capture and break him!
