Well, you've certainly got the recipe for a good fic down. The tone was great, so was the story line and the characters were where they were supposed to be. That is in character.

I LIVE in EGYPT, and let me tell you, Men don't just kiss like that in public. they would probably be slaughtered for it. and i have Nothing against Gays. at all, so i'm not being prejudiced.

Interesting...I honestly never saw Jonathan and Imhotep together...but I loved everything else about this. I too felt sorry for him, I didn't think he needed to die. thanks for sharing!

This is a sweet story. I have a similar idea, but I don't want it to end with their escape from Ahm Shere. The problem is, I'm not sure what Jonathan's story should be. If I could just figure that out, then I'd be set. Anyway, I loved it.

Interesting idea, putting Imhotep and Jonathan together! :-D!
The only point you completely skip is the WHY.
Why does Jonathan suddenly give in to an unexplained impulse of helping Imhotep?
And why does Imhotep act as if the betrayal of - and his eternal love to - Anck-su-namun is negligible?
Why does this all happen so incredibly fast?

It's those whys that linger in the background unanswered, that make your story incomplete. In my opinion it could really benefit by including those explanations. Character development and so on. ;-)
