You're dealing with this scenario beautifully. I can just picture Bobby trying to tough it out on his own, and then ending up breaking down and turning to Alex. Had tears in my eyes reading this chapter. Beautiful.

How sad to lose a loved one during the holiday season. That holiday is just never the same again. Alex to the rescue..this is so good. do I get more now?

Yay. Well not yay that Bobby's mom died, but Yay to the story. I think I watch too much CI, when you said he was sitting on the bench cause he couldn't go in I saw him getting up every now and then to pace then sitting back down to chew his fingernails.
