Oy vey... very evocative, lyrical language there. The Mad Editor can't find anything wrong with spelling or grammar, only perhaps a little polishing in a place or two. I have only one objection: I think it's clear in the show that child-Asuka knew exactly what was wrong with her mother. I recall a memory-scene in which a hard-faced Asuka is listening to her mother refer to her as "that other girl" or some such. Other than that, though, it was an excellent fic. Not quite sure what the title has to do with the subject, aber Deutsch ist immer gut.
