AngelMoon Girl 2009-08-22 . chapter 1Ah, achingly beautiful and truthful! I loved it! |
The Dead Snake 2008-08-16 . chapter 1So is Dumbledore gonna go back in time and fix it? Or is that illegal? w/e. I liked that. It's well-written. |
L.A.H.H. 2008-07-05 . chapter 1I like this. You've captured Dumbledore's voice very well, and the notion that Dumbledore always meant well is very true. Well done. |
 slashslut 2008-06-24 . chapter 1wow . . . |
 Death's Favourite Child 2008-05-04 . chapter 1I rather like manipulative/evil Dumbledore, but this fic's great anyway. |
Element's Sole Protector 2008-04-09 . chapter 1Wow, here this is! I read this on The Dark Arts, didn't occur to me that a) it might be here as well and b) you might have a different name here...duh...
Good. Really, really good. I like poking in on it from time to time when is blocked, heehee... |
MelismaMaker 2007-12-15 . chapter 1Poor Dumbledore... You've got to feel sorry for him, sometimes. |
 Porcelain Princess 2 2007-01-28 . chapter 1that made me tear up |
Story Weaver1 2006-12-26 . chapter 1Wow I like this a lot. I can picture the wise dumbledore sitting in his office mourning the failure of his plan and the future that will never happen. It defintely makes the events of HBP make more sense. Wonderfully done. |
duj 2006-12-10 . chapter 1I agree that Dumbledore's intentions were good. Giving Harry to the Dursleys might have worked if he'd thought of watching over the home more carefully and, above all, giving them the support that a magic-fearing family would need to cope with a powerfully magical child. Maybe Snape and Harry would not have been so antagonistic if Harry was less like James in character, less disrespectful, less convinced he knew better - and if he hadn't decided Snape was a baddie from the moment their eyes met at the Sorting Feast, when he mistook Snape for Quirrellmort as the source of the pain in his scar. Maybe.
Dumbledore's fault is he's too much of a Ravenclaw; too inclined to sit back and wait for plans to work out in actuality as smoothly as they do in theory and too much in the habit of keeping his plans (and his affections) to himself. |
Catti666 2006-11-13 . chapter 1You've got a real Dumbledore there! I'd imagine that is exactly how he would be feeling as trying patch up the pieces thats are already mixed up. He's got a lot responsibility on him and it ain't that easy to carry. Great fic! |
Red Panda Bear 2006-11-06 . chapter 1Great job. I thought it was well thought out and written. |
excessivelyperky 2006-11-05 . chapter 1Ah, Dumbledore's plan. Of course he never believed the Marauders tried so hard to torment and nearly kill Snape--they were _Gryffindors_, after all. He never asked Harry was his home was really like, and so Harry believed nobody cared. Of course he never means to favor the Trio so much that Draco Malfoy can't believe the Headmaster would care about him, either.
Of _course_ it's not Dumbledore's fault. It never is.
Neat story! |
Iva1201 2006-11-05 . chapter 1Oh, I've liked this one. It is also how I see Dumbledore. Nice to see someone else sees him this way as well. (-: Added to C2 Severus Snape. (-: |
