bottlecaps 2009-09-02 . chapter 1There are no words in existence to describe this.
Simply incredible! |
Ice Dragon3 2009-08-10 . chapter 4I'm very happy to see an update, this story is amazing with its depth of detail and characterization. And you've really thrown a loop into the story with this new butterfly twist...is this some sort of secret shinobi village's symbol, and if so, what did they really want from Kakashi and what is he getting into now? Babies and exploding tags? I can't wait for an update. XD |
Jennifer 2009-07-18 . chapter 1 Great story. I am pleased to see that there is more. Thanks for the read.

ZOMG amazing, exceptional, grand, AWE some. :D

Your writing style is really unique.
It's just the chapter are really long.
xD
but anyways, cha~
please update?!!?!? |
KungFuu 2009-07-12 . chapter 1Okay, I didn't look to check if you actually want constructive criticism, so if you don't, just ignore this.
First off, let me say that you're obviously very intelligent with an impressive vocabulary, and that's great, but...it kind of bogs down your writing. This may just be me being too simple-minded, lol, but I kept struggling to get through your paragraphs - too wordy and flowery. But hey, maybe that's your style and I'm sure there are readers who like that, so that's just my two cents and I doubt it's even worth that much.
But, yeah, I made it about 3/4 through the first chapter before I just got tired of fighting past the verbosity. On the other hand, when the characters did speak, you had some really witty lines. Just my opinion, so I hope you aren't offended - not my intention to flame or anything! |
Anon 2009-07-11 . chapter 4 omg I LOVE this story, I honestly don't have enough words to express just how beautiful this story is, definitely keep up the good work :) |
jazzy2may 2009-07-11 . chapter 4Yay! its been forever since the last update. Good to see it being continued. look forward to the next update. |
heavensangelQ 2009-07-11 . chapter 4omg! great story~!! but i was just wondering if this great story of yours wil be having a happy ending?! T_T |
tearfularcher 2009-07-11 . chapter 4Excellent story, I'm really hooked and can't wait for all the mystery to be unraveled and to find out who the baby is, but Iruka and Kakashi would make great parents. Can't wait for the next update. |
deviltiger 2009-07-10 . chapter 4This is a very interesting story. I can't wait to see what happens next. |
Weavers 2009-05-24 . chapter 1Very interesting, although slightly unsettling. His hallucinations and memories mixing with real life make for a good atmosphere. |
platedlizard 2009-03-01 . chapter 3Beautiful. I'm going to start linking this in every single fic rec thread I see. |
LylicaGalatea 2008-12-20 . chapter 3I'm at a loss for words... no not really otherwise I wouldn't be writing this but still... I'm happy. Yes, it's definitely happiness.
God from the way this story proceeded I was so damn sure it was going to end badly, and for more than a second there I feared Kakashi would have killed iruka in the shower during that hallucination of his.
Thank you for the happy ending, geez I'm not sure I could have handled well a gruesome ending!
Anyway, for a more decent review:
Three chaps, three stages of steadily improving conditions. This last chap was so touching. Sex was hot but filled with affection, true acceptance and trust, even the most embarassing feelings were shared and understood. Kakashi's memories were a bit confusing but that was the whole point of them, to disorient you and let you feel Kakashi's worsening condition.
I still have to think about it (I just finished reading it and may need to read it again) so that's why I'm not getting it in a clear way... but what does Tsunade mean by "They let him go"? Those who held him... they let him go? How, why?
Anyway, beautiful story overall, one of my favourites for sure.
I saw on your profile you are not writing anymore, that's a pity, hope you'll grace us with some other stories eventually. |
LylicaGalatea 2008-12-20 . chapter 2Compared to the first chapter this one is much more (obviously) hopeful. Kakashi's slow and difficult journey towards normality starts with unspoken support, growing closer to Iruka with casual encounters and silent understanding. It is heart-touching how they both feel their bond growing without the need to put it into words and how then Kakashi asks to kiss Iruka in a moment when they cannot deny it anymore.
Kakashi's fear of their relationship is also well exposed but I'm not entirely satisfied with the moment in which he goes back on his decision of letting go of Iruka, in front of Obito's grave.
But it's just a detail really, and the chapter is gorgeous nonetheless. I like how their love and relationship feels adult without the teenager heartache and exaggerated shock most of the fanfictions have. |
