This piece is so vividly written, it brought tears to my eyes. What could have happened to John Sheppard is too painful, so I'm glad it's only in fan fiction.

The final scene between him and Carson was so realistic.

I kept thinking -- did they interrupt the Wraith giving Shep his life back? Were they the reason he died - because they showed up too soon?? How ironic and tragic if this is the case.
