I'll start off by saying that: this story deserves at least a thousand more reviews than it's got right now. Before I lapse into anything else, I'm going to say that I adore Donella. She has realistic problems, reactions - suffice to say, her conversations with her bygone family members are amazingly amazing (yes, repetitive, but I can't find another adjective) and they give me something to smile and grin about. All characters (Sesshoumaru, Jaken, Rin, InuYasha, Kagome, etc.) are completely in character - it's practically like watching another episode. I love the way that Donella has created a bond with the odd group we all know and love. :)

I've been sitting here, devouring your story and reading every single word. This is pretty much a very rare thing for me, because if a fanficiton doesn't grip my attention, I really will not read it seriously. I'll just skim. But I was riveted from the first moment. :D Can you tell I really, really enjoyed it? I'm one of those oh-so-annoying readers on ff . net that read, alert + favorite, but almost never leave a review until the end of the story.

This is a really outstanding exception. There are grammatical errors dotted here and there, but we're all human and I really won't mind as long as the content of the story is excellent, which is pretty much the case.

Sorry for all the gushing and compliments, but when I find a story that I really love, I can't stay silent about it. XD I saw that you haven't updated since 2007. I've read your author's notes, and I sincerely hope that everything is going all right for you. Life has a really nasty way of turning the tables on us humans.

Regardless of the update date, I'm favoriting, alerting and reviewing because I honestly am hinged to every word; I'll have you know that you've probably induced a 're-read' effect in me, which is even more rare. XD

*looks at her review* Uhh...wow. Too much writing. Well, I've only got one more thing to say (surprisingly). I found Donella's explanations and outlooks on many things - not just life in general - extremely wise and insightful. Her story telling is endearing, and you've managed to even weave song in there without turning this into a "gag-me-with-a-tablespoon-of-sugar" Mary-Sue.

*breathes out* All in all, congratulations for producing such a fine craft, and I earnestly hope in seeing signs of life from you!

How depressing that you haven't updating in nearly two years T-T

i implore you to find any inspiration you can muster up to finish this story, it is a gem in Inuyasha fan fiction and forever my favorite of sesshoumaruxOC.

Please, please, please; i can't beg enough for you to return to writing. and i'm sure many agree, finish this story if anything. I find it hard to finish my stories but if the plees you receive aren't enough to scrape enough inspiration to write then i don't know what kind of drive one needs to write.

i am begging on my knees, i adore this story.

please oh please you must update soon i really hope all is well enough in your life now for you to do so this story is like a novel all its own i absolutely love it and i believe i can speak for a lot of your fans when i say we will be here until you finish this story update soon i can't wait to see how everything unfolds and if the love between sessh and donella will grow well i should say the present but ignored love ... until next time

Over a year since your last update...does this mean you have given up on the story?

I would like to point out the many reasons why this story completely rocks my socks:
1) Sesshoumaru is actually in character. I can easily see him behaving this way.
2) Donella kicks **. period. I love how you phrase such things..I'm an english major so I appreciate her vocabulary. Very very awesome.
3) Their relationship is very believable. I love how you didn't have it progress quickly and how you didn't allow Donella to fall in love at first sight.
4) This is soo unique. The way you've woven Rin, Jaken, and Sess with your OC is spectaular. I love the addition of Irish culture/folklore. (being mostly Irish myself =]) As well as the random stories thrown in from Disney..very very cool
5) Basically, you have the best Sess/OC story I have EVER read. Possibly the best fanfiction..and YOU HAVEN"T UPDATED IN A YEAR.

sigh, i wish there was more! i'm already dreading a long wait for this, and i've only just finished reading it. oh well, i'm sure however long the wait is, it will be worth it...

i truly love this story, and i can't wait for more fuzzy, heart-gooshy moments with Sesshomaru...

Hey there! Was just re-reading through some of my favorite stories, and figured that I'd drop you a review for this one. I have loved this story since the first chapter, and just wanted to let you know that we are all still here rooting for you! I sincerly hope all is well with you, and even if the next chapter is a year in coming, I know it will be worth the wait!

This is one of my top three favourite fanfictions. I'm always waiting for an update and then it come and I let out an involuntary squeel. But then I read it and I wish I hadn't because no I have nothing to look forward to. Not that I'm complaining about the time between updates. I have patience for something this good. That is my glowing review. I really wish I had a more well rounded critique or something but I don't because I'm about as deep as a thimble full of water.

Hey hey! I really enjoyed this so far, you've mixed two cultures which I find fascinating, and taught me a little about my Irish heritage (I'm an eighth Irish) while capturing me with your story! Thank you so much for this pleasant distraction during the run up to my University exams, and please update very soon, as I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
