Very nice story. Works well on it's own, but makes one who hasn't read The Ante get very curious about it :-)

Feeding the writer: Simple pieces like this draws me to short fics. It seems my interest in the epic long fics have waned. These one-chapters seem to fit my interest a little better nowadays. Thank you for not disappointing:) Now on to Christmas! By the way, you really need to update The Ante:) I'm forgetting what it's about.

Oh, this made my week. It might just hold me off until the next chapter of The Ante is posted... hint hint. I wish I'd read this halloween night, but oh well. As per usual, your writing is amazing, characterization spot on and forgoing all formalities, gives me pretty fuzzies inside! You are by far the best author I've read in a long while (including hard copy novels). Now please excuse me as I hord on your next story :)

Lovely as always darling. I would have one comment on Rogue and the pumpkin... I'm a tad surprised that you had her quite so chipper (in the beginning)... it's not your nature to treat her as such. I found it very interesting how she took out the card for comfort and went to thinking about Remy... Anyway, great as always. I enjoyed our dear 'Bride of Frankenstien' Interesting thing everyone forgets, she was to be the bride of Frankenstien, not the monster. Then the monster kills her and demands that Frankenstien make her his bride, then he refussed to do it... yea, whatever, forgive the rant!

i love the 'grotesque' use of diction when describing rogue and what she was doing.

ooh, huzzah for halloweeny fics... today's certainly an eerie type of day for one - grey, dreary, blowing leaves and howling wind... very apt.
and as usual, great stuff. makes me want to carve a pumkin, actually - i love the feeling of the goop between my fingers too. and rogue wielding a giant knife? that made me laugh.
glad we got a glimpse of remy - ahh, seems he was thinking of rogue during their time apart more than i would've guessed. i'll take that as a good sign.
liked your mention of all saints day too. my birthday's actually on all souls day... good times. ;)
