Love Uncle Lariat...nice tie in to Texas (or shameless plug?) and the conversation in the barn was priceless. Favourite line QUOTE: “Best one in the whole lot, long, shapely legs, strong hindquarters and those eyes…intelligent, sensitive… mesmerizing.” /QUOTE Still trying to decide if he is talking about the horse or not here lol Scene between Patrice and Lindsay was wonderful - love how you have a conclusion but haven't gone down the 'happy ever after' route. The scene is heartfelt and suggests a way to go before their realtiomship is truely repaired. The 'bedroom' scene though...I laughed so hard. An * full of buckshot; climbing a trellis; falling in through the window...excellent stuff, and then you throw in the emotion. Wonderful, wonderful writing. The ending was perfect. Loved this line QUOTE: “Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some catching up to do on my sleep. Some insatiable woman kept me awake most of the night fulfilling her most erotic fantasies.” /QUOTE giggle Loved the fic from start to end and can't wait for the sequel!

Hope you do an epilogue and sequel.. will look forward...Love the ending but also that Linds and her mom came to an understanding... But love that you showed D/L relationship was not always rosy but they go through it..Will miss this.. thanks again for all your hard work..
samtdog 2007-07-13 ch 65,	abusewell thank you so much for this story i have enjoyed it so much and i am so sorry that you have decided to end it, i have read it about 5 or 6 times all the way through and i have to say that it is the best lindsay and danny fan fic i have read, d/l are my fav but i was wondering if you thought of doing a danny and flack story i have read a couple and i think your type of wrighting would be good for those to (just a thought). From the start i was hooked on this story it just got better as it went on. I want to thank you for the time you spent on it and i will be looking forward to your next. many thanks from a now sad girl in England X (Dawn)

'Quote'Patrice cleared her throat and telegraphed to Matt one of those Morse code looks that only couples that have been together for eons could decipher. Very realistic! IMHO. I like the connection she shares with her family. You had some great areas of visualization throughout this chapter where I could actually see and hear Danny: Quote: Danny held up his hands in explanative rebuttal, “Purely from an observational standpoint of course. I don’t play the ponies.” This was good nice capture of Danny!! And here as well: Sure, the way I see it, you are miles ahead on skylines and I’m zip on wheat fields,” he said as he peered through the ‘0’ made by his thumb and forefinger. Quote: Trellis is on the left side of the front porch. My window is just above it.” She didn’t catch the expletive as he started down the stairs but a saucy grin graced her face as she hurried to her room. She threw open the sash settling on the window seat waiting for what seemed like eons before she heard more expletives coming from the direction of the trellis. This time she caught his mutterings as she heard his thud onto the roof. “Ouch! What I won’t do for a piece of country girl **! I must be outta my mind.” Great scene here!! I really liked how you came back with the outburst of emotion from Patrice at the end to remind us that it's not all about DL and the hotness between them. Nice job tying in the veiw of the Gallatin Valley to end things. Can't wait for your next adventure.
