SombraAlma 2007-10-05 ch 29,	abuseYou've managed to make this chapter both amusing and heartbreaking. I love Sawyer's version of Hush Little Baby; it's very...Sawyer, for lack of a better description. And Jimmy's insistence on how his Daddy sings the song is poignant and so very real. Well done.

FebruarySong 2007-09-19 ch 28,	abuseSkylar! I was utterly charmed by Sayid taking the comic book out for Hurley's benefit. That is absolutely something that he would do and it makes me fall in love with Sayid even more. The truly lovely thing about your fanfiction is that you have everyone so IC that when I fall in love with your characters, I fall in love with the real characters from the show, too. I'm not just falling in love with an imitation of them. Brava! Sad that Sawyer was so affected by the divorce, but he recovered well. Great chapter. I'm wondering what the next holiday is? Or is this just picking up the thread of a previous plotline and will now cover everyday life? I'm cool with either one. This is pretty much the only Sayid/Claire pairing I've ever read, so it's refreshing. :)

Now pick up those toys or I'm going to show you the back of my … " the left side of Sawyer's lips froze and then twitched into speech again, "time-out stool where I'll make you sit for five minutes while you think deep thoughts about your feelings and why you feel you have to be such a smart –" Made me laugh, but it was also a good example of Sawyer's parenting skills. "He could rant and rave all he wanted, stomp his little feet on the sand, whine on and off again for hours, but, at the end of the day, every day, without condition, Kate would still reach out that hand, as dependably as the sun rises and sets, and gently stroke his bent little head with affection." Wonderful description and line.
