Prettily written, but I agree that what is here seems to be one of Eponine's own fantasies. Why wouldn't Thenardier be happy? I mean, I can't imagine Thenardier ever being happy, but why does this specifically make him not happy? Why wouldn't he jump at the chance to have somebody officially take Eponine off his hands? I'm going to restrain myself here and not go into any ways that she might actually be supplimenting the family income, so to speak. Does he have something against Marius personally, for some reason? Something to think about.

Very good, how I do love Les Miserables. (Even though I'm not finished with it yet) But I would like to read more of this to see what happens.
