Yay. A Kaouru x Haruhi fic. I've always suspected that Kaouru held back his feelings for her for Hikaru's sake, and I'm glad that you wrote this. The scenario is a bit random but works, and you could break up the last part more.

it's just kindof wierd to read and you wouldn't picture anyone saying that. and "Not only she, but he also felt surprised..."
just work on that a bit.
