This story gave me the most amazing mental picture EVER.

This was fabulous!

First of all--I love this concept! Halloween on Gunsmoke, and a crazy reality where Knives and the Trigun family celebrate it! My favorite part was Knives glaring at the kid that tried to take a handful of candy instead of just one piece. One thing that jarred me was Meryl's exposition of Vash and Knives' pouting cycle. While humorous, I think that it interrupts the flow of the story, and it doesn't really present us with any relevant new information. I love Vash's costume ideas though (Meryl as a witch! And himself as a vampire--snerk), and your characterization of both Knives and Meryl is well done. What an enjoyable read! Thanks for writing and posting!

Yay! This is so cute. Sorry it took me so long to get the chance to read this. You know I love your scary Knives, *shudder* so cool! I was chuckling as I read it. I can just seem him acting this way and the image of Vash being pouty as a 3-year-old was great. ^_^ A good Halloween read, yep, yep!

I found this really amusing, especially the way Knives felt toward Vash's pouting; Knives in a pumpkin suit... what an odd, yet appropriate, pun (pumpkin "plant"). The only thing that seemed off about this story would be the ending; it felt as if there should be more about the interaction between the main characters (I know Wolfwood's not there, but I could see him as either an angel, or something sinister... XD). All in all, great work.
