I don't know how I never saw this story before. I probably did, but found it too depressing at the time...I stopped reading fanfiction about Tony and Michelle after 5x13. Now that I know Tony's still alive I can read stories like this, and so far, so good. I wish your story were true...if Michelle had left behind a daughter for Tony he'd have had something to live for after she was killed, and he probably wouldn't have gone over to the dark side. I'm looking forward to reading more of this...will let you know when I read the other chapters.

even though i'm a die-hard T/M fan i liked the ending. i'm glad they were able to become a family.

Great ending! It was very sensitively and tastefully done and beautifully written as usual! It was lovely to see Tony, Audrey, Lily, and Sam happy together as a family. I giggled at Samuel Taylor Coleridge Bauer. I can just see Jack reciting the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, “As idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean...” or something like that. Alas poor Jack. Your description of Audrey’s grief after Jack’s death and how she compared it to how Jack dealt with Teri’s death was touching. It was good to see both Tony and Audrey overcome their losses and put their lives back together with their families.

I loved the scenes at the playground and on the sleigh ride. They were so sweet and charming. With the very tropical winter we’ve been having here, reading about a snow-filled Christmas was a treat. And I really liked how you developed Tony and Audrey’s deepening friendship and new romance. Jim Heller and Bert Almeida as the unlikely but ultimately successful matchmakers were fantastic.

Congratulations on another wonderful story! I really enjoyed reading it. Six days until January 14th 8pm! Apart from getting my desperately needed 24 fix, I hope you’ll be inspired again with another great story! We’ve managed to get through over seven months of waiting, we can get through one more week right? Right?!?!

aw. gosh, I loved this. this is so good, I dunno how I happened to miss this, I believe the e-mail notification doesn't work any more.

anyway, great idea to put tony and audrey together, although I'm not sure I can forgive ya for killing Jack. lol. but if we're honest, as a field agent, he had it coming, sooner or later.

this part got to me and almost had me crying:
"Wow! They’re in heaven together? That’s nice. That means that they both have a friend in heaven. Sometimes I wondered if Mommy was lonely in heaven without you and me, but now I know she has a friend there. I’m glad she has a friend, Daddy. Now I won’t have to worry about her any more."

it seemed very true to character, that both of them would first not even consider it, and that it took what it took for them to realize it. the scheme of their father's played out, you had me smiling all the time when all that started happening.
