Wow, Maccus is evil...but he's my favorite character from Jones's crew. SORRY!! He just is. But that still gives him no excuse to torture her so much. Oh well, maybe that one in one hundred chance will happen where they ease up a little on each other.

Ah, this story is wonderful!
Jacky's one of my favorite heroines, she fits well in this story... and very in-character! (Brava!)

I'm a bit disappointed about it not being in the same time zone (? ahah) as PotC, because I'd love her to meet Jack and Will. (well, and Elizabeth!)

As for pennywhistle songs... I'd say she has to play 'The Ship Boy's Lament', I've always wondered the tune for that, but it seems to be a song Jacky's attached to.

Songs? Hmm, how's about 'The Eddystone Light'? Jacky played it in music class in the second book for all the other girls. The entire song is included in the book, so you don't have to go around making up verses. It's one of my favorite songs from the Bloody Jack books.
