Defender-of-the-Moon 2009-11-01 . chapter 32This fanfiction had me craving more from the very beginning. It is my sincere hope and wish that you continue! The cligghanger you left the last chapter on is pure torture! You are an excellent author and your talents exceed most people I've met and most items of fine literature I have read. BloodFlowsLikeHoney 2009-06-11 . chapter 32Dear Author,
I very much enjoyed reading your story. I will admit that I came across it by accident but I am glad that I found it. I continue to mull over how hard it must have been to write this since you had to find many names for people and clans and houses. I am very surprised and think that you have done a wonderful job. I am looking forward to the next chapters of your creation, so please do update soon. I will take my leave now and I would like to state that I do also look forward to hearing from you again in some form. I presume you will aknowledge my request for you to coninue your masterpiece and update. Farewell.
Sincerely Yours,

Aizzia 2009-05-25 . chapter 32 i was just wondering will there more chapters to the white dog |
Deathfire-san 2009-04-26 . chapter 32This is perhaps the best Inuyasha fanfiction I have read to date. Your OCs are excellent, which is significantly more than I can say for nigh any other story I have seen. I see you have woven an remarkable story around Inuyasha's heritage and history, although I worry that you have perhaps neglected the Narake aspect, although admittedly, in the manga, the group searches for him far more so than the other way around. Regardless, excellent. There has not been a whole lot of Miroku or Sango featured in this fic, but that is completely your decision, and considering the focus for this story, it is probably a good one. Do you still consider expanding on this fic, or are you more interested in your newer ones? Regardless, I hope you continue this one.

Stevie Dee 2009-04-20 . chapter 32 This is a very awesome story. I have never read a story like it and so far I love it. I wonder what happens next, will Inuyasha be in big trouble and have a fight with fluffy's mom or will his wolf dog friend save the day for him? please update soon I am dying to find out what happens next. |
Neko no Baka 2009-04-07 . chapter 32I'm happy for the update and that you'll hopefully come back to it this summer. Man I Missed the update. But last i check on this storry was 2004, and shortly after I went off to college and my computer fried itself...kinda lost the story name. But i found it again. >.< can't wait to see how this ends! Good luck with school! |
Daiymo no Tashio 2009-04-02 . chapter 32It's a nice enough story, and I usually don't read Inuyasha anymore, much less with the Kagome pairing in it.
However, even without my dislike for that pairing. Everyone must admit that Inuyasha the heir stories should not have Kagome as his partner. It seems wrong, bad taste in the mouth. It also seems like a self-fantasy. Beautiful, insecure, virgin schoolgirl becomes a princess and gets her prince. |
AngelOfMusic387 2009-03-17 . chapter 32Dun dun dun... somehow, I get the feeling that things are going to get much worse before they get better. Sesshoumaru's mother is, no doubt, going to try to either try to kill Inuyasha as soon as possible, or at the very least, prove him so unworthy of the "throne" that he will be kicked out of the High Stone all together. Perhaps at that point, Sesshoumaru will finally be able to break free of his mother's grasp and influence, and fight for his father and alongside his brother.
The drama in this story is great. I really hope that Shirokiba is okay, and that Kagome will stay safe until either Shirokiba or Inuyasha (or perhaps even Sesshoumaru?) can come and safely retrieve her. But then again, what kind of story would it be if everything happened that smoothly? :P
I anxiously await the summer, when you will be able to update this story again. |
AngelOfMusic387 2009-03-17 . chapter 30So before I read this chapter, I figured that Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru would encounter each other, and that they would "make up," as it were. And I was worried that the making up part would be too quick and unrealistic for how long they have been at odds.
But I was delighted to find that, though it was fairly quick, it was very well done. Sesshoumaru obviously still has a part of him that remembers the fondness that he held for his little brother. And Inuyasha, rather than hating his brother, is really just so hurt by the betrayal of someone he looked up to. I think that that particular wound, a deep one, no doubt, can finally start to heal, because of this one chance encounter. And it will be nice to see the brothers fighting together for once.
Ah, coming up on chapter 32... then I'll be all caught up... |
AngelOfMusic387 2009-03-16 . chapter 19Shirokiba's story brought tears to my eyes. To think that Inuyasha could have been so utterly... broken, and still be as kind and as gentle as he is, even when he's being surly and unreasonable, is amazing. Kagome is truly his soulmate, to be able to reach him through so many years of betrayal and pain.
I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying this story. I love the character development that is happening with Kagome and Inuyasha, both individually and as a couple. Your story of Inuyasha's past, what little I know of it (being only on chapter 19), is very well thought out.
It is refreshing to see such detailed, well written work in this fan fiction world we live in, where shallow plots and characters sometimes seem to invade. I can't wait to read the rest of your story, and I know that I'm going to reach chapter 32 and immediately want more. Heck, I've read 19 chapters in one day. That alone tells me that this is a story worth waiting for. |
mysteriousblackcat 2009-03-12 . chapter 1becky, i doubt ur even going to read this becuz uve gotten so many reviews...but, i have to say that, ur writing is outstanding! i remember a while back begging my mom to let me get online so i could read ur story The White Dog off of its website. And i really cant wait till u continue it this summer, im really excited. all i have to say is Ganbare!! ja ne! ~nya~! |
tweakinuears 2009-03-07 . chapter 32Wow. Just simply amazing. I love the way you portrayed Inuyasha and Kagome here: very orignal. Inuyasha's fear of rats, his past, and the appearance of his mentor, Shirokiba: it seems to come right out of the manga itself! All these insights into our fave hanyou's past has given me new perspectives and understanding on his character [especially about where Kagome read the book about the dogs to better understand Inuyasha. I've never thought that Inuyasha would be concerned about the dog part of his inhertance, or that Kagome could think of him as an animal. I was only thinking about his youkai heritage. Or how Inuyasha could look at his human night as a gift from his mother. Wonderfully insightful :)] And of course, Kagome. Some authors tend to butcher her personality by making her too helpless or whiny due to her school girl background. But the way you illustrated it, Kagome retained her innocence and slight immaturity, but yet could be seen as a growing woman learning to love. The depth of emotions they share for each other is endearing, and charmingly apparent when Inuyasha cannot find his rest without Kagome by his side. All of your OC's are uniquely creative, fitting perfectly in the plot you weaved for Rumiko Takahashi's characters. The way you depicted Sesshoumaru's mother is exceptionally clever. To think even the ever cold Sesshoumaru would fear his mother! Please keep up the hard work. Can't wait to see what happens to Kagome!
