have just re-read the story and hope that it is finished or at least expanded soon. This last chapter was awesome...the tension and the rituals were well done.

This first chapter has me hopeful the rest of the story is just as awesome! great job.

I loved the traditions and rituals that you put into this chapter, as it gave a feel a certain depth and background to the house. I also liked the ritual that Draco did calling a house meeting, and calling forth those students connected to the Prince family. Though the best part was Neville putting on the heir ring as oldest heir of the Prince family, and reinstating Severus's mother Eileen Prince Snape. But also allowing Severus to remember in the remembrance ritual outlining his achievements...it was beautiful. Such a shame that Severus never got this recognition when he was Severus Snape. Once Sev regains consciousness and has his new identity, I would like to think that he would appreciate what Neville did in reinstating Eileen Prince Snape back into the Prince family, and Severus Snape as well...well you know what I mean by that. What about all of Sev's possession, and any he had of his mother Eieen's? What about any Snape or Prince family vaults who gets them? What about Severus's money and his personal possession?

Absolutely brilliant chapter to this story! It's about time Severus received some sort of recognition or reward for all he's done and suffered for the light. Albus seems so set on keeping Severus exactly how he was...under his control..either that or he just doesn't want Severus to be happy? After all Severus has done for Draco and Harry (and others) both boys were very willing to help Severus. Draco by releasing Severus from his oath to protect his godson and to take on Severus's oath to protect Harry. Draco also urged his godfather to take the opportunity for a new start the healers offered, so did Neville as well. I do think that Severus took the opportunity because he seemed wary of why Albus didn't want him to take it, and Draco's opinion was the lesser of the evil (as he didn't have his future memories) Severus wasn't certain what Draco would get out of the offer?

I would have loved to vote on what the "new not-Severus" anymore would look like, but I didn't know who any of the names you mentioned were, sorry?

Thank you for choosing this story to update. I'll admit that I had to go back and re-read to understand what was happening, but I like where you are going. The line "My godfather just died - right in front of me" was heartbreaking.

just finished the 7th chapter of this story. I hope that this is not the end, I will keep an eye out for more. It is a gppd place to end, but leaves room for so much more of this very interesting story, well worth the read.

I REALLY like this Neville. I've always thought there was far more to him than anyone gave him credit for. You have an talent for good characterization and I'm very glad that I decided to read this.
