Well, I guess you need to watch the rest of the movie so you can know what exactly happened at towards the end of it. Nick dies, but managed to save Cathy. Joyce dies after she refused to leave the mansion (the spirits of the house killed her).

Anyways, hopefully I didn't ruin your story or whatnot. Maybe you can re-do it where it fits the story line or something along those lines.

I like the beginning. I don't know how much of the ending you missed of Rose Red, but Nick ended up 'dying'. He became part of the house. Also, Joyce ended up being killed by several of the house's inhabitants. Just thought you might want to know.
