bLaCkFaia-nEkO 2009-06-04 . chapter 1i am so in love with this fic... and after reading this for the something nth time, i would finally be be dropping a review for it... :p love can really be scary at times... there are times that you just can't let go, and even if you'd probably be hated for it, you still do it... just to keep the person... what haruka is doing might be wrong, but i still think that it's such a noble deed... to go that far just to keep kantarou... i think that kantarou also loves him very much... he's just being stubborn that haruka sort of messed with the balance of things-- that haruka turned him immortal or something... and he's also, possibly, scared and/or worried for haruka... cause he refuses to let go and move on with his life... cause haruka is supposed to be free after he dies... but seriously, kantarou should just accept what haruka did and be happy by his side... another possibility is kantarou's already tired of living... after all, being a mortal, he knows that he'd die and go to the after life... maybe he is looking forward to the 'blissful rest and peace'... but isn't staying with haruka a lot more appealing? :p this fic is just so wonderful... draws a lot of emotions and thinking... |
crimsonrosepetals 2008-02-24 . chapter 1Every time I go on a search for more HaruKan fan fictions, I always visit this. This wonderfully written work of yours - wonderful, like I said, original, stirring and ultimately disturbing. I always did love it; from the very first time I read it (and it took me 15 seconds to stop gaping at the computer screen in abject awe and horror) up till now (that I finally stop being lazy and review).
I'm all for Haruka keeping Kantarou with him by any means necessary (kudos for the original way of making Kan-chan immortal; most people would just turn him into a vampire). Ah...I say Kan-chan should just stop fighting and submit completely ^-^
Your fic is much loved. |
iShiznitch 2008-02-14 . chapter 1Every time I come into the Tactics fandom, I make sure to come and read this, because I knew that one day, I would finally understand. And I think I do now. I have a ridiculous habit of skipping words, but tonight I actually paid attention, and... well, little things poked me and EUREKA.
That's not going to stop me from coming back and reading it again and again.
Because it is one of the best, most... disturbing and thought provoking pieces I have EVER read.
Thank you.

Lanie Kay-Aleese 2008-01-02 . chapter 1Oh my God. This is a dark!fic if I've ever read one. I have to say that that is the creepiest scenario for making Kantarou live forever that I've ever read. I'd like to add that it's amonst the creepiest scenarios that I've ever read, as well (perhaps especially because I'm quite emotionally invested in the pair!).
But it's frightening mostly, I think, because this taps into the fact that humans are afraid of immortality just as much as we are obsessed with it.
And, to add, the brilliant question that is poised by the title and the many futuristic and surreal elements in the story truly frightens me. Who is the true automatron? The slave or the master?
Goosebumps. I am covered in goosebumps. |
 DrakenD4 2007-05-18 . chapter 1 I LUV IT! ^-^ |
TheLadyPendragon 2007-05-17 . chapter 1whats this about? is haruka keeping him as a pet or something? |
LadyYuina 2006-11-09 . chapter 1 Near the end you said Kantarou looked almost human. Eh? He was a human to begin with, or is he like a dead spirit or something in your fic? |
2006-11-02 . chapter 1 What, what, what?! Did Haruka KILL Kantarou?? What the heck? Ok, this fic was an interesting read, but I'm not certain about that ending... Hmm,, maybe he was old.. anyway, the story did move and flow quite well. |
