i am not a horror or angst lover by any means but this was amazing! it seemed very classic in style-- i do believe you would do 'poe' proud (edgar allan poe, i mean).

as i only read 'rurouni kenshin'(k/k), 'inuyasha'(iy/kag), or 'labyrinth' fan fictions, i shall have to wait until you are inspired to write in any of the above. i have enjoyed this little interlude and i appreciate the work you put into it.

Fascinating. Really. There really is nothing like a superb supernatural horror story, with a slight touch of romance. Heh!

I can’t believe just how beat up the residents of the Kamiya dojo were at the end. I would have thought that Kaoru would have some more injuries after having the beast use her body like that, but I guess not. I’m really glad none of them died like I thought someone would for a while there. First, I thought it was going to be Sano, then I thought it was going to be Aoshi, then I thought Yahiko… It was all very stressful. Lol Kept me on my toes.

I loved the creepy dead place that Kenshin and Kaoru were both sent to. …Maybe that’s a little weird to say so, but it was very interesting, like some sort of ghostly universe of the past or something. Was that were Battousai was beforehand, before he was brought forward by, in all sense, drowning Kenshin?

One thing that I don’t completely get is why did that beast take Kaoru’s body in the first place? Was it after Kenshin, or was it just because it wanted to? I mean, it’s been a while and I might have forgotten a few details…I’m not sure.

You did a good job on the self-editing, too. There were a few minor grammar errors. That’s all.^^
