This is a strange experience, reading this after so many years and so much canon and fanon inbetween.

You were so very serious and thorough. I can't stop wishing you'd pick up your brush now, after all of the canon is accounted for.

Is there any chance at all that you will pick up on this story again? I loved it when I found it right before I went to war in the middle east in January 2003, and I come back to re-read it on a regular basis, and hope there's a new chapter...

I love the way that you incorporate so much of literature, politics, pop culture and homage to other HP fanfic writers into your works.

I do hope that you will one day come back to this and enchant me again with the richness and depth of your works.

Well, whaddaya know, it's absolutely brilliant so far. The only thing I think could be better is that the conversation gets confusing... I have trouble figuring out who's speaking. Then again, it makes it read a bit like you're listening in on a telephone conversation... sort of voyeuristic. So, it creates an effect but it's a little confusing. On to the next chapter!

(P.S. I'm pretty sure the quote's Shakespeare... but I'm not sure which play...)

This is one of the single most inspiring pieces of fanfiction I have read. Really. (Although I admit I do tend to say things like that whenever I find something new and pleasing... that doesn't mean it isn't true. :D)

In fact, I'm rather afraid to click the next button, because I find it doubtful that the rest can live up to the sometime subtle, sometime not beauty of this prologue.

I like the old-fashioned sort of narration here... (not that it's particularly old-fashioned, but it reminds me of the tone of novels written in previous centuries) I like that you don't even try to disguise the fact that there is a person writing behind the story, and you do it tastefully and amusingly.

I also like the fact that Frere Laurent got what was going on... Sometimes Muggles are perceptive little buggers, aren't they? He's a truly likable character.

And, I love the labyrinth idea. I think you've said all that needs to be said on the subject of it, so I don't think I have to go on, but I wonder... who's the minotaur? :)

I just wanted to say I'm really enjoying this story and it keeps me on my toes. I do realize that it's been five years since you've last touched this and that updating most likely wont happen, but I thought that i might beg for an update. The way you capture Hermione's perspective is very accurate (in my opinion) and I'm loving every minute of it! Your impressions with Salomé had me giggling and her names for everyone just make her character so much better. I hope you use her in the future!

Anyways, this story has made it onto my favorites list and I really do hope you update it someday!

I delight in your ultra-long chapters, but despair- despair, I say! -in the romance that hasn't even begun yet. I highly anticipate the exploration of the wonderful characters you have started to create. That is - if you are going to complete the story. Just don't abandon this - it's all I ask. I'll anticipate the worst (abandonment! for shame!), while hoping for the best so an update sometime in the (hopefully super near) future will come as a freaking fantastic suprise. I'll offer up a few (million) prayers for your muses to return to you... Good luck!

This is the first fic that I actually stayed up late to finish. Hooked. Some grammatical errors, but your characters are perfect, and I love how MoM new about Snape and was in turn spying on him. Very scandalous. Hope things aren't too hectic for an update soon.

I started reading this because of the discussion of the two folks walking the labyrinth, and the different ways to see it, and kept on for the story. I enjoyed your treatment of the characters very much, and the footnotes and discussions of aesthetics and history were a bonus I delighted in: I enjoy listening to an articulate person speak of something they love; it lends me their eyes for a while, and sometimes I want to keep them.

It is a shame that it looks like this story won't be finished.
