Great story, I really enjoyed reading it. Have you ever thought of doing an epilogue story maybe set 10 years in the future? I would love to see how their relationship progresses!

I hope you do take this plot line further. It's a good one. It would be interesting to watch the Dunbars trying to integrate Jaime into the family, and to watch them figure out a parenting style.

This is going so well, Mom. Not too gushy but not avoiding the emotions of such an event either. I'm erally looking forward to seeing the efect of thislad in the Dunbar household. I bet he causes tension for both Christie and Jim in their own ways and also perhaps let;s them open up their softer side to each other.

I especially loved the analogy that the man the woman was interested in had died on the sidewalk at the bank that day. And standing up for Christie after her bitchy remark! Shows how far Jim has come and how much he has actually changed.

Good story. We all know how it's going to end. I wonder what Karen's reaction will be when she gets back from her honeymoon and finds out that Jim and Christie are suddenly parents! I bet the look on her face would be priceless.

How'd you sneak this one past me? I didn't see it come in, only saw it after I'd read ch 4. Some very poignant writing here. nice images in the hospital. How come Russo and Jim are hanging out together?

Nice scene at the bar, LOVED that Jim knew what to say at the wake without perjuring himself, LOVED the wanton woman.
