This is indeed something that, years later, I would still keep checking back to see if there is any new update for this truely amazing piece you have given us. Not saying to make any new updates soon as you do have your reasons and that you need to have your inspiration again only if YOU want to. When making any story, you do so for yourself, not for the public, as they are your own inventions to do whatever you want with them. Overall, I love it.

Awesome, as always! I really hope you continue this story, or give your notes to someone else and let them continue it. I'm very intrigued by the mentions of the garden and first sin. I'm guessing Danny's lust (or love?) has something to do with the plan, and I'm interested to see what role it takes!

To say that I'm absolutely in love with your writing would be an understatement. I stumbled across your story 'There and Back Again' some time ago, and continued to read your other works, as well. I found this one, and I must say, though unfinished, it has to be my favorite piece thus far. I come to you on bended knee, begging, pleading for an update. I simply MUST know how it ends. Thank you for being such an avid Danny x Sam 'shipper, and for writing so wonderfully. This story is fantastically dramatic and it truly connects readers with their own mortality (I know I had to check for my own pulse after reading the scene in Chapter 4 where Danny can't feel his anymore). Really a great chapter!
Particularly since you are dealing with such themes as Heaven, God, Mercy, Angels, Grace, and contrasting that between being an earthy human thrown into the middle of it all. Usually scenes like this are either sugary fluffy sweet to the point of making my teeth ache, or so busy blaming God for everything it would take a bottle of Prozac to get over the experience. Having read both kinds before, I know wherewithal I speaketh of. ^_^
But in this chapter you really strike a balanced tone. I enjoyed reading all of it, none of it was either too corny or too nihilistic. Good job!

Well, I have a few things to say.

One: I've been reading fanfiction from all sorts of genre's and shows for 6 years. But I must say, I have NEVER read a story this good. You are better than quite a few of the novels I've read from published authors.

Two: This is the only story I've read (fanfiction) that has ever made me cry. And trust me, it's hard to make me cry.

I commend you, I truely do. If I could give you an award, I would. Honestly, this is the greatest thing on . I laughed, I worried, I cried. Heck I skipped math class to read it. Please continue and update soon. I'm very sad there is no more to read right now...

Uh.. I don't know how much saying anything about Mary is blasphemy since she isn't part of the Godhead... but that's a denominational issue I guess. Either way, from wikipedia, this is how it's explained:

Blasphemy in Christianity

Christian theology may condemn blasphemy, as in the Luke 12:10, where blaspheming the Holy Spirit is spoken of as unforgivable - the eternal sin. However, there is dispute over what form this blasphemy may take and whether it qualifies as blasphemy in the conventional sense.

In the time of Jesus, when Christian ideas relied upon the influence of natural authority against the then secular religious power of the Second Jewish Temple, this admonishment may be interpreted as warning against an actual reaction from the Holy Spirit in the form of a curse that can irreparably harm a person (and thus be unforgivable but not by dictate)[citation needed]. Uh.. not to seem overly... y'know. Anyway, it was a good chapter, despite my main disagreement with that one thoughtline. -shrugs- I don't have a desire to dispute such a thing in a fanfiction.
