I loved it and you are a wonderful writer! I don't generally like reading things in first person but this was so amazingly written... Lovely work.

Omg that was amazing. I love at the end, the alteration between the countdown and the dialogue. That was cool.

My God, your writing is beautiful. Amazing. Just, wow. I decided /not/ to be a lazy ass and actually sign in to review, and, of course, to favorite this and yourself.

I think I'd give anything to be able to write like that. I can't find any mistakes; everything is so fluent, grammatically correct, and like poetry in itself. -shakes head- I apologize that I can't think of anything smart to say; too tired.

I'm guessing that this took place during the time that Riku was with Maleficent? Who I hate because, one, I can never spell her name right, and, two, her evil laugh is annoying and lasts /way/ too long.

And the idea that Riku becomes so obsessed with obsession he forgets his own name makes me tremble in delight. What a Thought!

So beautiful in its simplicity. The classic "Aim and Miss". Silly Riku, can't you see Sora wanted to save you all along?

Anyway!

It's been quite awhile since I've read a really good angst like this...though I suppose it's my own fault, since I surround myself with fluff. xD What I liked about this was that it seemed as though it was part of the actual storyline. The beginning where Riku's all hating himself makes his 'high and mightyness' later in the game seem believeable (see, this even makes the game better! Dude, you're good. ;D). 'Cause you know, typically people who are insecure take it out on others, and that was probably the case with Riku.

What I really liked was that this could be seen as either friendship or love ("We'll be best friends forever, right, Riku?") between them. And and and...

'I think I used to be in love. Now it seems less like love and more like an obsession. I have an unhealthy obsession. Maybe that’s why I’m so haggard, because I’m unhealthy. So that makes it your fault, doesn’t it? Because you’re my obsession. Ergo, it’s your fault that I’m like this. It feels good to blame someone else. Maybe I should do it more often.'

Hmm, maybe this was where Riku's obsession with Sora really started? :P Riku's suddenly thrown into the darkness and his heart's ripped out...and he's falling apart...and well, Sora's his light. The one thing that kept him going, when you think about it. -ponders-

i like the way that you twisted the descriptions of how Riku saw himself. how you made his moonlight hair into cobwebs, his oceanic eyes into dull aquamarines, and porcelain skin into paper...
i just liked that part ^_^
maybe cuz so many people always call him beautiful? maybe *shrugs* i always like new twists on old, repetitive things... so that could be it

and the ending was very good ^_^ i liked how you did that with the fragments of memory disappearing

this one was depressing... but that's what angst does, so i guess you could say mission accomplished :) keep writing! :D

ohohohohoho. That was really great; the first few paragraphs were a bit monotonous, but once you got into the flow it was really beautiful. You surprised me with how good this was! Amazing job.

The last part like... mad me way too sad. xD It's really good!! (heart)

Okay, this is what I got from this: Riku loves Sora. Riku goes to Malifecent (due to the events of the first Kingdom Hearts) and never comes back. From lack of Sora... and being in the darkness... and whatever else went on (there were hints of other things)... Riku goes insane. He constantly thinks about his memories of Sora, whose name he doesn't remember. Sometimes he remembers it though, but then he forgets. Overall, I liked it. Lovely, lovely.
