I was reading over the first part of the series again before I move on to the sequel and noticed something that I didn't before due to acquiring new information since the first time I read this...you've watched Alien Planet haven't you.

I have read all of your Last Son stoies so far, and I am impressed with your work. One thing bugs me though. You keep describing the Kryptonians as an advanced space faring race. If they were space faring, then wouldn't some of them have escaped destruction of their world, regardless of the Shi'ar blockade as there might have been Krpytonians off world before the invasion. And wouldn't more people have gotten off world before the planet's untimely destruction? By the way, have you read Kevin J Anderson's "Last Days of Krypton"? It describes the Kryptonians as Xenophobic, and Isolationist, with no craft capable of space travel. It would then, make much more sense for Superman to be the "Last Son". Just voiceing my opinion, please do not execute me.

Hi, just a quick review before I move on to the sequel...This was amazing!! I love X-Men (and Evolution is my favorite universe for them), so that was enough to make me enjoy this story. But what's really incredible is the other superheroes you put in. I've never really been interested in them before (I've only ever paid attention to X-Men), but this story has definitely made me want to go out and find out more about them! Especially Superman, of course. :)

I'm really looking forward to how you deal with the mutant revelation (it's in the sequel, I presume?), 'cause the prejudice that follows is something that Clark can't take care of with power alone. Plus the romance aspect should be fun as well!

Well, anyway, excellent job on this story, and I'm off to read the sequel!

Hrm. I like the concept, but your plot doesn't seem up to it.

It's challenging to stick Superman in there.

I mean, it's not even the comic book X-men who are way more experienced and have dealt with cosmic enemies - it's the evolution x-men, who are all young and vastly inexperienced.

And your Superman is one of the more powerful interpretations of the character. Actually, you even boosted him quite a bit by making him resistant to telepathy - in the DC universe, that and magic are one of his weaknesses besides the deus ex rocks. You even made him immune to mystique's shapechange. Totally unnecessary.

He is just too much for the x-men stories as is. None of the normal x bad guys can remotely present a challenge to him, and none of the good guys can be his peer. There is thus no drama. It would take a much more complicated plot to have people who can help him out and villains that he can't just beat down (hence, in DC, he might need Batman's brains to deal with a situation where power isn't enough).

The non-cosmic Marvel villains that qualify who could give Superman a hard time are just the magical ones (very few), Doctor Doom (because Superman can't very well depose a world leader because he thinks he's a villain), etc. Both the hulk and juggernaut would be cake for superman - even if they both might match him physical strength, they only weigh so many pounds and he can just fly them up into space and toss them into the sun.

Your story is quite long, so maybe later in the plot you have situations where power isn't enough... but it doesn't seem like it, since you even made superman smarter by giving him a brain uploaded with a ton of information. If you're just going to drop in a powered up villain later on to give superman a challenge... what was the point of even putting him with the xmen in the first place?

Another will come, with might equal to he,

but he will still win, in ways we can’t see.

Why does that just spell 'Doomsday' for me?

That, or Brainiac. Probably trying to make it seem like Brainiac, but will make it Doomsday in the end. Your a genius that way. Who knows. Doomsday seems to have the strength, honestly.

And yes, I am reading over your chapters for...inspiration. I already got an idea from Thor, and an idea from the 'Next Avengers' movie. All will come to be, soon enough. But, parents grounded me. Have to work in secret now. Its actually pretty fun.

Well, good luck, again, on your next chapter.

I noticed the talk with Superman and Wilson Fisk is based off the Animated series of Superman, Lex to Superman talk. I believe in the first episode, or so. Huh, nice. Worked well.

Also, question about my soon to come story. A small one, mind you. Does Graydon Creed know about HYDRA? Please answer

“It was as if...millions of voices suddenly cried out in horror and pain...and then were suddenly silenced.”, or is it "As if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced." either way, hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a blaster at your side. thank you very much. ciao

A very fun story. I enjoyed how you realistically wrote Superman into that Juggernaut episode without using him as a deus ex machina. I will mention, however, that Nick Fury is a little older than mid-fifties. He's actually in his eighties, but appears younger due to his use of the Infinity Formula. Apart from that, great job!

WOW! This is an excellent story. I am fairly surprised you haven't had more reviews. Anyway, you finished it off really well, and I compleatly forgot about the magic part of the superconductor. You made a nice story here. I will be reading your sequels as well.

Well, this was enjoyable.

Guessing that the rest of the DC world doesn't exist here (pity, Batman would be awesome), but all around, this was fun to read.
